We are looking for a new board member to join our team. We are keen to recruit an individual with a background in fundraising or marketing.

Lead Scotland is at the beginning of a journey with fundraising. This is a great time to join us and be able to create an impact at a non executive level. We would suggest that prior experience of being a director is not essential but ask that you share a passion for our work. The Board meet every quarter during the day in Perth or Edinburgh, you can claim out of pocket expenses for travel. If you think you have what we are looking for and can add value to a great team who are committed to supporting people who want a better future please get in touch.

Directors are expected to participate in one or two of the Board’s sub-committees, e.g. Finance, Strategy and Futures, Risk, Engagement and Fundraising or short term working groups.

Lead Scotland has a digital, paperless approach so you will be expected to access board papers online.  Some of our subcommittees use video conference platforms to meet online, to reduce travelling.
